Schluter®-KERDI is a bonded waterproofing and vapor-retardant membrane that allows for direct tile installation. It is ideal for tiled showers, bathtub surrounds, residential steam showers, and other tiled applications in wet areas.
- Sheet-applied polyethylene waterproofing and vapor-retardant membrane.
- Prevents water infiltration that can lead to mold growth.
- Comprised of a central layer of modified polyethylene (PEVA).
- Covered on both sides with a non-woven fleece that anchors the membrane in thin-set mortar.
- Ideal for waterproofing tiled wall and floor surfaces.
- Has a thickness of 8 mil, ensuring a consistent assembly thickness.
- The wide 6′ 7″ (2-meter) roll covers wall surfaces from the floor to the standard showerhead height, reducing the number of seams and speeding up installation.
